2024 RACE DAY SCHEDULE
SCHEDULE UPDATED FOR HOT WEATHER
Due to the forecasted hot weather, and requests for this change, we have made the decision to start the event 30 minutes earlier. The times below were updated on 14/02/2024 to reflect this decision.
Please note: times below are subject to change.
6:15am - Pack Pickup & Transition Open for all races
7:10am - Pack Pickup closes - All athletes must have collected their packs.
7.10am - Transition close for Kids Triathlon distance athletes
7:15am - Island access parking closes, parking is still available on Henley drive off the island
7:15am - Kids Triathlon Briefing
7:20am - Kids Triathlon Begins
7.20am - Transition closes for all other athletes
7:35am - Long Course race briefing
7:45am - Long Course Race Start
8:05am - Enticer Race Briefing
8:15am - Enticer Race Start
8:25am - Mini Course Race Briefing
8:30am - Mini Course Race Start
9:00am - Transition Open *Depending on last competitor being off the bike course
10:00 - Event Concludes
ATHLETE GUIDE, COURSE MAPS + MORE
HOT WEATHER MEASURES IN PLACE
Based on the forecast temperature and participant requests, we have shifted the original event schedule to start 30 minutes earlier. Pack pickup will now be 6.15am - 7.10am, with the first race (kids) kicking off at 7.20am. Other measures we are implementing to combat heat on race day include changing the Long distance run to 5 laps of a shorter loop so runners can access the water/aid station more frequently, adding ice to recovery/aid station water, misters on course, and additional shade where possible for our participants, spectators and volunteers. The Every Woman Triathlon is definitely going ahead!

EXTRA INFORMATION
If you need to leave early we suggest you park off the island before the main entry bridge as cars will only be allowed off the island once all bikes are off the course.
If you want to come down and check out the venue the day before the race, our team will be setting up from 2pm and we will be happy to assist with any questions!
MORE OFF COURSE ACTIVITIES
Academy of Dance and Elegance will be running a fundraising BBQ on race day, so please drop by and purchase a yummy sausage sizzle or drink. The Dance Elegance cheer squad will also be cheering and performing at the finish line all morning! 📣
Share the Dignity will be at the event on race day collecting donations of period products as part of their March Dignity Drive. They will also have a great photobooth setup for those post-race pics!
KC Australia will be selling Every Woman Tri merch near the finish line. You can also collect pre-ordered merch then.
